Condition Improvement Fund
AMR Consult has extensive experience of preparing CIF surveys and reports. On behalf of Trusts and Academies we have submitted over 200 Condition Improvement Fund (CIF) applications in the last four years. Project values range from minor roof repairs of circa £20,000 to large expansion project of circa £3 million.
The Education Funding Agency (ESFA) will be announcing the next funding round of Condition Improvement Fund for 2020 at the end of the summer 2019. Based on previous years’ experience, once opened applications will need to be made in October/November 2019 with the deadline for submissions in mid-December 2019. Successful projects will be announced in Spring 2020.
The following restrictions are likely to apply:
Academies can bid for up to 2 projects.
The maximum funding available per project will be limited to £4 million.
The majority of funds will need to be spent by 31 March 2021.
Previous Condition Improvement Fund Success
AMR Consult has progressively increased the number of successful applications over the past three years. In the most recent round of CIF applications we had over 45 successful submission. The cumulative capital value of all these projects was over £12 million.
With the submission process becoming ever more challenging and complex, we are confident in our knowledge and understanding of the process. This enables us to prepare and submit first-class applications, with all the associated documents, and each year we have increased the number of successful applications.
