AMR Consult is providing technical advice to the London Borough of Southwark on a unique new build retail project. Peckham Palms forms phase 1 of the regeneration of the Peckham rail station entrance. As part of the rail station redevelopment a number of local retailers are being displaced and the Council has undertaken the responsibility to relocate the more vulnerable retailers. The site is located on some disused Council owned lockup garages, which are being demolished. Engagement with the local residents and community support officers has formed an important part of the project as the site is hemmed in on three sides by existing residential dwellings.
